Myofunctional Therapy

What is Orofacial Myology or Myofunctional Therapy?

How We Evaluate and Treat Myofunctional Disorders:

Your Speech-Language Pathologist, trained in myofunctional disorders, will evaluate the structures of your mouth as well as the strength and range of motion of your oral musculature, and evaluate your overall posture. Testimonials

“I can’t say enough about how amazing Sensory Solutions has been, and Abby in particular! When I first looked into their services, I’ll admit I was a bit skeptical. The center specializes in pediatrics, and I wasn’t sure if it would be the right fit for me as an adult. However, Abby completely changed my perspective. From the very first interaction, she made the entire process seamless and reassuring.

Abby is incredibly easy to work with. She’s professional, approachable, and truly takes the time to understand your unique needs—no matter your age. She tailored the sessions to fit my specific goals and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way.

My main concern was my tongue thrust. Abby gave me a series of exercises that were perfect for taming it. The exercises were simple to follow, and with Abby’s guidance, I saw noticeable improvement in a short period of time. What impressed me most was her ability to explain everything in a way that was both clear and approachable, addressing my concerns while offering solutions that worked for me.

On top of all of that, Abby was incredibly flexible with my school schedule, which was a huge relief. As a student with a busy schedule, I was worried about fitting sessions in, but Abby worked with me to find times that were both convenient and effective. Her willingness to accommodate my commitments made the process so much easier and stress-free.

The entire team at Sensory Solutions has created a warm, welcoming environment that fosters progress and personal growth. Abby and the center have truly been a game-changer. If you’re looking for support in this area—no matter your age—I highly recommend Sensory Solutions. Abby is the best!” -Taylor, age 28
